Thank you all for being so incredibly supportive, loving, and uplifting as I continue to share my life with you on social media. I have begun a whole new chapter and journey, and I knew as soon as I was ready to let you all in, that I would one day share my story. I decided to finally open up on snapchat a few weeks ago, and since then, so many of you have been commenting on my Instagram and opening up yourselves to me as well, with stories of your own pregnancy struggles and new-found inspiration & hope through my talk. As requested, I have finally found a way to upload this onto my youtube channel for those who missed it and want to know what happened. Here it is... raw and taken straight from snapchat via phone recording as the story was too long to save directly. I hope this helps some of you who share our sorrows and our drive to move forward to embrace the new! God bless you! Thanks for watching. BTW, theres a Q&A session at the end... lots of details there too. love, Tamanna If you have any comments, feel free to send them to my most recent related posts on IG: @DressYourFace (Snapchat: DYF-TAMANNA) ________________ UPDATE SINCE THEN (as of Sept 5): I have been feeling so much better now that I have hit 18 weeks, so no more Zofran for me unless things get THAT bad again. To backtrack a bit, my first 3-4 months were a NIGHTMARE. I stuck to all the natural safe remedies my doctors suggested but as time progressed, my nausea only got worse. Once I hit my 2nd trimester, I expected it to go away or at least taper off, but instead it got so bad that I couldnt even hold down Gatorade or water! So after a scary ER visit and several consultations with different doctors and nurses there, I got on Zoran. I only took it roughly 3 times a week for those most unbearable 3 weeks when I couldn't hold down food or drink (it was around the 12-13 week mark) , then slowed down to 1 or 2 per week for another 1-2 weeks only on the days that I couldn't function without it (on a couple of excessively rough/ long/ tiring work days). After that, more recently I started to feel much better overall. I still get queasy but I'm back to relying on natural remedies for nausea and nausea prevention, since I am no longer actually throwing up and can hold down liquids and foods again. Yay! Hopefully it stays that way. Both mommy and baby need to grow healthy!
