I just got the Smarty today and everyone tells me it's a much better tuner, well I agree I get a ton more options and power from it, now I just got to get some real gauges instead of using the gauges on the Banks... the truck is an 07 ram 2500 w/ 5.9 cummins and 6 speed manual trans Banks 6-gun w/SL or Smarty S06 during testing Performance mods include: MBRP exhaust and cat delete, CFM+ intake horn, silencer ring removed, dirty Airaid MIT CAI (it's pretty dirty so that could account for some of the smoke), South Bend dual disk clutch, and all Amsoil synthetic fluids. Other mods that migth effect this comparison are a 6" lift and 37" tires...

Fuel Economy is important. Not even the most diehard diesel fanatic enjoys paying an arm and a leg to fill up his ride. Thankfully, adding much needed power using the Triple Dog GT doesn't have to result in sticker shock at the pump. Bully Dog tunes promote a more efficient burn within the engine, which results in more power when you put your foot down, but can also reap more miles if you drive responsibly. The driving coach software included in the GT helps you do just that.
